Juhani Konu

Managing partner

Juhani has been working in the field of search and selection for almost two decades. He has wide experience of executive search and demanding personnel assessment. Juhani has a Master’s degree in Economics and also in Psychology. He joined InterSearch in 1996 and became a partner in 2006. Consumer products, manufacturing and service business are his speciality and he is also an active member of various professional associations and business clubs. Juhani has an extensive knowledge of business in Russia. He speaks Finnish, English and Swedish fluently. As a former athlete, Juhani likes hiking, preferably in the Alps and cross-country skiing in Lapland.

Mikko Puonti

Partner

For executive search Mikko has a twenty year long professional career consisting of HRD management and versatile recruitment consulting. Before joining InterSearch in 2010 he was a well-known independent consultant. Mikko has a Master’s degree in Psychology and is a certified consultant in personnel assessment. Mikko has close connections to the academic world and he is familiar with the newest studies in the field of work psychology. Finnish and English are his work languages. Outside professional activities Mikko likes jogging and working around his summer cottage. He also enjoys playing the bass and the guitar.

Jouni Riekki

Senior Partner

Jouni has been working as a management consultant since the 1980’s. He is the founder of InterSearch in Finland and is currently the Chairman of the Board. He has also ten years of experience in human resource management in technology industry. Jouni has profound knowledge of varying industries, from engineering and construction to media & entertainment and fast moving consumer products. Over the years he has been in positions of trust in InterSearch Worldwide, for instance in the Standards and Quality Committee. Currently, Jouni is the Chairman of FEX, The Finnish Executive Firms´ Association. Jouni has a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Policy and he works in Finnish, Swedish and English. In the summertime, Jouni enjoys boating and the archipelago. He is also an enthusiastic fine arts collector.

Petteri Ojala

Research Consultant

Petteri is in charge of the research activities and other crucial back office tasks that ensure our successfulness in customer projects. Because Petteri maintains and develops our executive databases he is in touch with a large number of candidates. He has worked as a research assistant in an academic institution and has experience of financial duties in service business. He has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and has specialized in employment issues. Like his colleagues, he has played the guitar for years.

Noora Ovaska

Research Assistant, M.Sc.(in Psychology)

Noora works as an Assistant Psychologist during the demanding suitability assessments. She organizes assessment schedules, provides appropriate information and internet based tests to candidates, and coordinates assessment days in the office.

Noora graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Surrey and has completed an MSc degree in Kings College, London. Along with her job, she is studying for the Finnish Psychology qualification in University of Helsinki. She speaks fluent Finnish and English and uses both languages at work daily.
